Pearl Shang-Simpson
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapist. (MBACP)
I am an integrative counsellor with nursing and midwifery experiences gained working for many year in the NHS. Do you want help managing your mental wellbeing? Do you have low self-esteem and confidence? How about relationship problems? Would you like some help with the issues at hand? I offer a calm, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you will feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings regarding your mental health, exploring, gaining insight for better understanding of self.
I specialise in supporting those who have experience baby loss such as miscarriages, stillbirth, neonatal loss, as well as antenatal and postnatal depression and trauma related to giving birth. I also have experience working with people mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. I am also a bereavement counsellor.
As an Integrative Counsellor, I use elements of different approaches to consider your individual needs and circumstances, help you to make realistic changes and manage or cope with your challenges in a fulfilling way. If you would like to talk, I am here to listen. I work hard to listen, be attentive and understand my clients’ perspectives.
